From previous question in more detail. What do u think of this situation?

I've read both of your questions in regard to the proposed scene as well as answered your blog question. I think that you are committed to the plot you're describing; to me is sounds a bit contrived, not to mention convoluted. If, however, it is essential to your story in its entirety, then try to write it as believably as you can. As for your actual question: If your heroine (the girl) is to be truly in love with her boyfriend, then his death, despite its being a tragic accident, is going to be devastating to her obviously. To write realistically, you must portray her emotions intensely. I don't know where you intend to take your story from that point -- do you mean for her to forgive the "killer", to fall in love with him ultimately? Is he the actual hero of your novel? He would certainly have to face some sort of inquest whether the killing was an accident -- difficult to prove to law enforcement after the fact unless he is to suffer residual effects from the head wound -- or whether it was premeditated -- he is in love with the girl and wishes to rid her of her boyfriend. It's your story! Do you want her to forgive the shooter, to fall for him? If so, then you'll need to figure the way to cause that to happen in a logical way. In reality, I doubt that I'd ever be able to forgive a man who shot and killed my lover, whatever the cirstances! Anyway, you're writing fiction, creating a fantasy world; you can cause to occur whatever you want! Good luck!
