Why don't they feel upside down?

This may seem stupid, but i think it is pretty logical. It probably has something to do with gravity, but why, if someone were to say, stand on Antarctica, why do they not feel upside down if it is the South Pole. Or anywhere on the equator, why do they not feel like they are sideways? I know this may sound stupid, but i am serious.
