Why are people scared to die alone?

The old saying of What we fear is fear itself- the unknown. You state you cannot take your family with you however, we will return from where we came from so in essence we are returning to those we have known. My twist on things as I truly believe my Father in Heaven lives and I have been with him before. Thus, I shall return. When one of my parents dies someone said sad she died alone- the preacher said- she did not die alone- Christ was with her. A christian belief and that's my stand on it. He said it I believe it .
