Why do I have strange hair follicles itching and making me want to pull them out with tweasers?

I have an itch and scratch it either on my face arms or legs and next thing I know is that there is a white pump thing. I twease it and it looks like a white cone with some attachment arms on the end. Pls help - am I dying?
